I grew up in the town of Mannington, W.V. with my parents and two brothers. As long as I can remember we always had animals around. We had cats, dogs, and horses. I was always where the animals were. There was no other job for me other than working with animals. I graduated from North Marion High School in 2003. While I attended North Marion I also took animal science classes for four years at the Vo Tech Center. I started Fairmont State Community College in 2003 which transitioned to Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College by the time I graduated with an associate degree in veterinary technology with a minor in science.
I like working at Fairmont Veterinary Hospital for various reasons. I love the variety that FVH offers in cases, pace, species, patients, and clientele. I'm utilized in all positions but if I had to pick a position I would choose urgent care appointments.
I have a husband, two children, three cats and a bearded dragon. I love to bike and hike. We have a camp where we love to fish and swim. We love being outside!
